DopaBreak Privacy Policy
Effective date / last updated: September 11, 2026
Toshiki Sakuraya (the "Operator") sets out below how information is handled in the DopaBreak application (the "App").
1. Overview
Goals, reflections and app-use records are stored on your device. No app account is required. Purchase and subscription analytics use billing notifications sent from Apple to RevenueCat. See section 5 for advertising measurement in the updated version. We do not track across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.
2. Information stored only on your device
The following information is stored only on your device, inside the App's own storage, to provide the App's features. The Operator cannot access or view any of it.
- Your goals and records of achieving them
- Statistics such as how many times you tried to open an app and how many times you chose not to
- Your answers to the setup questions (such as estimated usage time)
- App settings (notification schedule, theme, selected target apps, and so on)
3. Screen Time data
- The App uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks (Family Controls / Device Activity). Using them requires your explicit permission.
- Your app selections and usage activity are processed only on your device through Apple's system. No third party, including the Operator, can access this data.
- Screen Time data is never used for advertising, marketing, or sharing with third parties.
4. Notifications
All notifications from the App are local notifications generated on your device. The App does not use push notifications from external servers. You can turn notifications off at any time in the App's settings.
5. Purchases and revenue analytics
Payments and purchase restoration use Apple In-App Purchase. We do not receive credit card numbers or Apple Account passwords.
To analyze purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds and revenue, Apple server notifications are sent to RevenueCat, Inc. They include purchase information such as product and transaction identifiers, purchase and expiration dates, renewal status, price, currency and storefront region. RevenueCat may generate an anonymous customer identifier to associate purchases. Purchase history is linked to the same purchaser or transaction for analysis; the App does not send names or email addresses.
Goals, reflection answers, selected social apps and Screen Time information are not sent to RevenueCat. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
SDK measurement described below applies to the updated version with measurement enabled. Earlier versions only use purchase analytics based on Apple server notifications. For deletion requests, provide the analytics ID shown under Privacy & App Info in Settings. You can request deletion even if you have not made a purchase.
We use the RevenueCat SDK to measure advertising effectiveness and use after purchase. The app sends an anonymous customer ID, purchase information, an AdServices token used to determine Apple Ads attribution, and completion flags for onboarding, automation setup verification, and the breathing screen to RevenueCat. RevenueCat associates Apple's attribution information with purchase information. We do not send your name, email address, IDFA, selected social apps, goals, reflection content, or Screen Time information. We do not use this information for advertising tracking across other companies' apps or websites. Deleting local app data does not delete this analytics data. Please contact support to request deletion of analytics data.
6. Information we receive when you contact us
If you email support, the Operator receives your email address and the content of your message. This information is used only to respond to you and to fix problems, and is deleted after a reasonable period once that purpose is fulfilled.
7. External service providers
We use Apple for payments and RevenueCat for purchase, revenue, advertising and completion-state analytics. These services process the information described in section 5. Support inquiries are not shared with third parties for other purposes, except where required by law.
8. Deleting data
You can delete local records in the App settings. Deleting the App does not delete Apple purchase history or RevenueCat billing records, and does not cancel a subscription. Cancel subscriptions in Apple’s subscription management screen. Contact us below to request deletion of purchase, advertising and completion-state analytics data. After identifying the relevant records using your anonymous analytics ID or purchase information, we will handle the request except for records required by law or for fraud prevention.
9. Minors
If you are a minor, please use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised to reflect changes in law or in the App's features. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this page.
